Jay, if your serious, you might want to start this thread in the Cigarette forum. You will get feed back from actual Gladiator owners and folks that know Cigarettes inside and out! You will learn DETAILS ! Prolly end up talking to people who actually know the boat your lookin at.

not really
original design was side by side... stagger leaves no cockpit room
on the boat u ask about... has no ITS and drives r bravo x drives not xr... that being said it was built by lipship i think and most of its life spent right by phils shop on a lift in a canal and is a nice piece

I would agree with Ken if you're looking to get the most performance out of the 36, but I'm guessing you're probably not going to be racing it. The staggard setup will handle a little better, be a little faster, and have a little better resale, but give up room inside the cockpit. With that said, the 57 boat has more cockpit room, and I know they want to move it so you're going to buy it right and at non-stanggard pricing anyway. It's still a very nice looking boat and I'm sure you'd be more than thrilled with the performance. Dont worry about the lack of XR, all bravo based drives have the same weak link... the top gear.

If you boat with your wife and family I wouldn't buy it because it has no cabin.
If your not an awesome driver I wouldn't buy it because only good drivers can turn the damn boat without it rolling over.
If your docking skills are not "expert" I wouldn't drive it because it has no rubrail.
All in all a great raceboat if you don't intend on racing it.

3. Thats just you.
please just give your opinions, not as facts.
And to the OP, if this style of boat suits you, then they are cool as chit.
AND, post in the Cig forum for real info on these boats.
AND, if you are serious, get on the phone w/ phil.
OH yea, get what you want the 1st time, regrets suck.

1. My wife hates the cabins in go fast boats. And my kids think Glads are badass.

I doubt your boy would think its a cool boat if it kills your whole family in a rollover. This is the last boat anyone should look at if you do any boating with family.
