Maybe a caption contest is in order here:

My entry: "Jay always wanted a boat with twins". :drink:

My first thought I was hoping it was a photoshop joke.

When I came to learn it was true then my concern was for him.

Equipment can be replaced as he cannot.

Once I spoke with Jay the other day, he was in pretty good spirits and he will work through it..

He knows he has a lot of friends in this sport and photography that will do what they can for him...

Whatever I can do for you Jay, let me know.

Hopefully your in Islamarada now to catch the aftermath...:drink:

You are 100% correct if shooting as a pro, or it is your business, you would then need a business policy, and still most likely want to schedule your equipment, sorry should have been more specific, even though i have some of the same equipment, i have never sold my shots, nor do i advertise to do so, and i think that keeps me safe as a hobbiest....i will make a call monday to one of the underwriters to make a confirmation

Do you still have pics dating back to 2007. You got a couple great ones of my first run Sarasota Nov. 07. I would love one or two of those.

Tom, somehow I missed your post earlier.

Yes, I still have those shots- save everything in a triple-redundant backup system. I'll send you a PM shortly.

Your post got me curious so I went looking back through my files...
counting things like the last 4 Miami shows, all the FMO events, races, poker runs etc I have shot 84 boating events in the last 5 years.

The pace has picked up a bit in the last 12 months. :drink:

That's awesome !

At least now you can use them as paper weights ! :drink:

Personally I don't think I would trust any of the cameras to work properly after that swim in salt water.

Tyson saves my bacon.

A good rinse and a whole lot of WD 40 or CRC will save your Tri Pod at least.
