JIMKID, does the boat ever power through that or was it the way you were trimmed, the water seemed fine...???

yeh,you wouldn't think you have to go over 100 in a 30 ft. skater so it doesn't porpoise!!!

Think he,s one of the first ,if not first with such lightweight engines in the back, and trying to get it balanced out.
different props with different blades ,driveheight ,etc could make the difference ,give him some time to work it out !
The boat looks great ,keep us updated when you put her in the water .

308 Skater Inboard w/Sterling 700's

4 Attachment(s)
If anyone has a question on how a 30' Skater Inboard runs, this 308 Skater is owned by Connie, she is Mike at Sterling's GF. It has Sterling 700HP motors, TNT built Bravo XR drives, Hering 6 blade props or 5 blade B-Blades and was rigged at Skater. The boat runs 135mph full of fuel with 5 people in the boat and no porpoise at any speed. If anyone would like to talk to either one of them about this boat call Mike at Sterling or PM me for Connie's work number.

Connies Skater looks way better in person, not that the pics look bad. I have seen it up close near Harsens island. Sounds even better.
