STV - Merc 2.5/260hp OB - cruise ~80mph - 2mpg... WOT 111 mph 3.6mpg

Scarab - 2xOMC V8 OB's, 380hp - cruise 42-44 mph - 1mpg.. WOT 74mph - I don't want to know.

Okay I have a stupid question is your rates given per motor or is that both
Ex. I get 1 MPG but I have 2 motors so that is .5 a side? I am not the fastest and have only had twins for a few months of use please help...

That is mpg total, not mpg per engine.

2.6 mpg at 45-50mph...3200-3400 rpm, 26' Sutphen, twin 350 Mags, 23pitch Revolution 4's....

Branford, CT to Block Island, RI...67 miles each way...50 gallons round trip....

I may be little, but I'm good!

For me:
38 straight-bottom Top Gun, big cubic inch N/A's (800HP) with #6's.

I figured out last season that I average .88 mpg at cruise. 4000 rpm's is right around 60-62 depending on water conditions.

WOT.....don't want to know.

Great seeing you as well!! By the way we traveled over 500 miles last week between Boca and Key West and everywhere in between in my 35 cig!! It was a great 9 days!!

Love this thread. I can now document I have a very fuel efficient boat

26' PowerQuest, 7.4L 330 hp BIII:
25 mph, 3.0 mpg
40 mph, 2.4 mpg
WFO 58 mph, 1.7 mpg

Was burned out by Monday afternoon and left a little early. Let me know next time you are going to be at TNT and I will stop by to see the boat. Our facility is about 20min from TNT also.
