Young Owners
Guys out there with 20ft+ boats in their early 20's? I shocked some friends and boat owners when I made good on my threat to get one, a 1981 Formula 233LS Thunderbird. What else do you guys have???

i had a donzi 18 when i was 16....back when LOTO had a bit less traffic....loved it
|
At 20 I had a 29 Fountain. 22 I bought a 35 fountain, 24 I bought my first Black Thunder 43, then a couple others... :lolhit:
Now Im 27 and have a different Black Thunder but still love boating just as much. Wish i would have known then what i do now. Just continually learn about boats and listen to what others have done. Chris |
I had 211 Four Winns Liberator at 22 years old, man the fun we had on that boat. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything

At 18 years old I had a 17 ft Checkmate with a 175 HP. That boat was crazy. When it got to the point where nobody would come out with me anymore, I decided it was time to step up. The good ole days.

I was hired and for the next year i swung a sledge and drove spikes into rail ties (sucked :angry-smiley-038:). I then transfered to the transportation side of the company and became a locomotive engineer for the next 4 years. After that, i was hired to be a designated supt. of loco. engineers. Now i just took a promotion to K.C. to work in intermodal logistics for my company. Good pay but not much of a home life.... |
