I would like to see a video with a split screen. One side showing the throttle guy at work, and the other showing what he is looking at straight ahead. there are plenty of driver videos.

I sat behind Martin Sanborn in the Key west run.It was interesting to watch him.It would of been a great video but did not have my camera. It was kinda a last minute thing.

Thanks, Ryan. Coming from someone with your racing background I take that as a big compliment.

The average boat owner, not even the guy in the street but the average guy tooling around in a Sea Ray or whatever, has little to no idea about the go-fast boat world. So when you write about something like throttling for that guy, when you try to break it down so he can understand it, you are reminded of how complicated and skillful it really is.

Excellent read Matt!
I can't tell you how many people over the years come up to me after a poker run or a day on my boat and say "Wow, I had no idea how much was involved 'driving' these boats! I have a whole new appreciation for you guys out here."
