I'm not certain one way or another if this stuff really works, but whatever it is that these speed coatings do, they will work the same vertically as they do laterally in reducing drag.

It reduces drag to increase speed and will also reduce drag when re-entering, lessening the impact resistance of the water.

Ok, I just watched the video for Hyspeedkote. It seems pretty straight forward, but the over-application part scares me a bit. I do not want an amber hull. My main question is this: If I am directing water toward my hull, and the Hyspeedkote is designed to soak up some H20, aren't I opening myself to blistering concerns, especially where my boat won't dry completely for a while, (where it sits on the bunks, on the trailer). I worry about this already, not to mention if I am attracting water to the hull as well, with Hyspeedkote. How does this act at a protectant/bottom paint, if I am bring water closer to my hull than before?

the koting works as a bottom paint also. as per the bottom looking amber that was four years ago when the first batch turned orange when it hit the sun. they have since fixed that.

I used to use VC LIQUID SPEED - that stuff really worked -EPA made them stop making it - same as freon 11 +12

they are all out of $$$ mike!!!LOL

make sure to use alcohol to clean the bottom....u may get a slight tint of yellowing....so they say, or boats did not.

SpeedWax

I tell you Ausley's Wax works best. I have used it for 3 years and we have won 2 World Championships and 1 National Championship. F2-15 is fast and the secret is Ausley's Wax. If you want to be fast and injured wax your boat with Ausley's Wax, it makes it fast and damned near impossible to walk on the deck without a harness.... ask TJ.....

HIRELESS ONE -Where do you get it.

Just curious if anyone has any feedback on the Hyspeedkote ?

Thinking about trying it .
