Gw invaders are much more fun that mini hawks. I owned a mini hawk for 5 years and all it did was pourpoise. It has a 35 johnson and i swear it did 45-50. IT FLEW! Only thing in the water was the prop. But as far as comfoft the GW's take the cake. Plus they're rated for 55hp!

resurrecting this old thread, is anyone still playing with these or remember your setup?

I am rigging one now with a Yamaha 40 2 stroke, I could get 32 out of it last season with a 25 Mercury, hoping for mid 40s and looking for prop suggestions??

29.9 mph is all I could get with a 25HP Mercury. I had bought one of those YamaMerc 40HPs too, but never got a chance to install it; and sold both.

I know nothing about these boats but a 25 pitch ? prop sounds a little heavy for 40 ponies..........what revs are you turning ?
