Scott Porta gets my #1 rating as a guy and as a technician. Nobody better. He is quiet, and doesn't toot his own horn, but his skills and knowledge are among the best in the world.

Looks like they must do some good work, great idea to sub-contract the work.

Yes, they build the m65usa Mini sail boat, the Active Thunder powerboats, toll booths, life guard stands, etc. They can also fix your rotted transom, which is what I will have them do. Seems like an o.k. outfit.

Better than ok.

I'm picky and they are dialed in with the Bluewater Coosa board. We've been partnered since 2006 and no failures whatsoever.

The introduction was through my relationship With Bob Saccenti. It's the best thing the 'Chief' ever did for me.

You can trust Todd to make sure it is done correctly!

I guess its just not cost affective to make your own boats these days and to farm out making the shells/hulls. Then all you have to do, is paint, vinyl, and motor somewhere else. Easier that way. They can fix it too, if anything happens.

The issue with lamination is where you do it. We are a mile from the ramp, waterway and inlet to the ocean in. Plus Pompano is over water tables so it is tough with licenses and inspectors. Edgewater is perfect and the home to Active Thunder, Edgewater Boats, Everglades Boats and Boston Whaler. In fact we paint the Whalers at the factory.

It has worked out very well since our foreman is a good old southern boy that is more interested in quality than anything else.

I'm sure Todd treated you well. If not please let me know.

Thanks, Pat
