my condolences to the Richardson family!!

So sorry to hear this tragic news! Pay pal sent, my thoughts and prayers are with the Richardson family.

Wow, thank you guys for the help..a few pay pals and checks came in. Mark and Stormy have not come back yet from Indiana where little Blake was to be buried. The paper got the story screwed up stating that the driver of the other boat helped with the rescue..not true...it was a real nice guy doing work for me on a dock that was going home and unfortunetly came upon the scene 7-8 minutes later. Im waiting for the toxology report to come in, I allready know one side, and will wait before I convict the other guy that fled and has tried to turn this event around..all over New Orleans cause he comes from a prominent family. Total BS....HOW DO YOU LIVE WITH YOURSELF...

It's pretty simple. They send you a confirmation when you do it. When I bought something using PayPal last week, I got a receipt from PayPall about 5 minutes later. Are you sure you really did it yesterday? I'm sure Jeff will check and let us know right here. :drink:

Dan, thank you I did get it. Ive been so busy trying to get a few things straightened out. The Richardsons will be home next week.

Also thank you to the others that contributed, along with the beautiful card from Wake Zone..I havent had a chance to read it, but it was thoughtful, and brought a tear to my wifes eye. AGAIN THANK YOU ALL...This meens alot to me...Offshoreonly Rocks..and JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED.

Sorry this thread got soiled by post about my loss. I thought possibly my experience could help some face this tough time. I did not want any sympathy or outcry from here, only to help.

Jeff - sad this thread got so derailed. This is overall a great community of people.

I sold $100 in parts today from this group of friends and so I'd like to donate that back to your cause. I could not imagine the pain that the father and family must be enduring right now. Sounded like really good hearted people and we all know they are few and far to come by these days.

Thanks Fantastix. I spoke with Mark yesterday, he is not himself, I can hear it in the big mans voice....and totally justified.
The question always comes up....Why Me...
A wife who loses a husband is called a widow. A husband who loses a wife is called a widower. A child who loses his parents is called an orphan. But...there is no word for a parent who loses a child, that's how awful the loss is!

Thank you guys, hopefully we will be seing them tonight for a larger gathering and grill out. They have been extremely quiet and hopefully we can get their spirits up ...just a little..Super nice people in the right place at the wrong time.. RIP BLAKE.

Its all good, we all have a hectic and busy lifestyle in this economy. Enjoy your new boat, am anxious to se what you come up with. We are working out the final stages on my cat..of the transom to except twin 90's, fish boxes, and a flip down out of the way rear seat..

I just wanted to take some time out, give you an update...and thank ya'll as a community. Of all the boating sites... You guys really stepped it up. I really appreciate the efforts, both spiritually and financially that were made in helping this family out. We went out to dinner last night with the Richardson's, Ill just say its an extremely rough time for them. Both brothers sold their boats and unfortunately want nothing to do with the water, which was a passion of Mark's.. Mark's severed hand will never be the same, barely has use of it, and thats a tragedy in itself, especially for what he needs it for..his livelihood...small equipment operator. Both brothers tox came back, and like I stated were clean..Unfortunately, they buried Blake in their hometown of Indiana, and will be moving close to their son end of May. I'll be losing a friendship due to a senseless act. Accidents like this are tragic, its how we handle ourselves after the fact. Thank You guys . Jeff

While this is difficult times for all of you, I greatly appreciate the “thank you” card I received a few days ago. Nice to see that even during tough times, there are some people whom I consider a “class act”.

No thank you..I just let them know about this website as well as one other that had nice things to say as well donated funds. They are not on the computer much, but I told them to google Blakes name for info on these great sites. For all that have not received a card its cause your funds are still in the paypal account, im leaving it in there till next week so we can pull the funds out one time.
