Default Steering shaft adapter puller??

How do you get the shaft steering adapter off? Looks like I need some type of puller, I put the nut back on just enough to cover the threads, can I smack the bolt and pull on the wheel at the same time? Any help would be great.

That's how I've done several times. Pops right off.
