Why would someone build a boat with no transom?

hmm weird... and it only has a hundo on it!

It's a lot easier to set a trawl with multiple pots/traps single handed when they don't have to be balanced on a transom. It looks like a work boat.

Van Dam in town built a boat like that a few years ago, a little larger boat. Very odd looking boat.

But on second look, who would build a tender for a yacht that only seats 2-3 people? more so who would build a work boat with nice wood flooring?

Lots of sailboats do that. It is so that when water goes in it just runs strait out the back. Can suck on a trailing sea!
