Firstly if the future buyer relies on the BS that is the BBB, they are nuts.
Secondly I dont see anyone staying away from this dealer over a single event that will eventually be worked out.

The BBB is junk.
You may be right but a lot of people still look at it, and not all people are going to know that Shogren is a proposed Mecca either. Guarenteed it will keep at least on customer away in the future, specially since they have no rating or anything on the BBB right now or accreditted. So somebody shopping online might do some homework check that out and see the only report is negative. I don't care what business you are, every negative incident you have whether it be your fault or not will hurt you. That customer with a bad experience will tell at least one other person, and you know what if my buddy says dont deal with them I wont. It seems like Shogren has put a somewhat descent proposal on the table so well see.

Actually I'd retract the offer. The complainer has taken this topic to yet another thread.

Scott is being too much of a gentleman.

Why have a thread pulled when it shows that a dealer was willing to do what he tought was a fair and equitable remedy to a customers problem??

To end the discussion that will go on for 4 more days...and to stop getting bashed and have it continue on yet another thread that has nothing to do with this.

Its gone beyond getting it resolved now.

Again Scott's not making sence to me. Why do I write you a check for negative equity if I owe it to the bank. Why do I have to pay for 7k in motorhome repairs when this is the first I even heard it needed repairs ? What about the money you made off my Baja? I'll reread that and repost when I figure it all out. Sounds like you're at the calculator. How much will you net ?
