I like rap but more old school stuff so its not my type. With that said for a young kid with crude cameras and mixing capabilites its not to bad. He might have potential. Problem is there is quite a few people out there that have potential like this and find it hard to make it. I would say go for what he wants but still get an education so he has a fall back

You guys are great - YES we are pushing education above all else, i don't mind helping him, buying some equipment for him as long as grades stay good. Grades drop - watch out!
