Cool Boaters Protest

This how we Brevard Co. Fl. boaters spent our Memorial Day.

http://www.floridatoday.com/!NEWSROOM/localstoryA20248A.htm

Of the 5.5 Hr.s we were on the water in our boat, 4 HOURS were spent idleing! I hope everyone else's boating Holiday was more FUN!!!

SC,
Got the thumbs up from everyone who read my sign, even the USFWS officers!

Here's the STUDY I referenced in my sign. Ahhh, some hard data, not some opinion/emotion or other liberal based bullsh!+!

SC as far as the NUT comment, sounds like the POT Head calling the Kettle black!! Why don't you show OSO some more pictures of your beloved farm animals BLEEDING!
MD
BTW, What size/type prop do you have on your boat? Do you have a boat?

Crash,

How many Manatees do you have in Chicago? Do you understand the IRONY in organizations like these radicals? I was looking through a friends Sierra Club Magazine the other day and guess what? ADS FOR AUTOMOBILES! Imagine that! They are so self righteous that they will take advertising dollars from the companies that make the vehicles that pollute so much! Clearly these organizations have ulterior motives.

Why is it that you feel so compelled to ridicule, and criticize others for fighting for what they believe in?

Very Cool, Dean! Sounds like there a was a nice showing of support and boats! I'm glad that Allan took time to greet the boaters and show his support as well.

Dean, I for one think that manatees are cute, cuddly, fuzzy animals. How could anybody even think of harming one of these beautiful creatures? Personally, I think that the ENTIRE ICW should be boat prohibited so that they can have a safe sanctuary to frolic in.

Good luck with the efforts.
I visited a friend 2 years ago down there and I could not believe the slow speed areas...No thanks, it takes too long in the hot sun to get anywhere.
