hook it to jacket, or pants instead

I use a Tigershark (we used to sell them) PWC wrist strap - religiously. To make sure I wear it, when I take it off, I loop it over my shifter. (I have a foot throttle.) That way I can't miss it when I pull away and it even gets in the way if I forget to put it on.

I have a carbiner attached to mine. I attach that to my pants or life vest. This way it's not in the way of the wheel or controls.

I attach mine around my ankle- it stays out of the way of the steering and throttle controls, and doesnt bother me at all. Little easier to forget its there and walk away with it still on though!

not trying to highjack...
my Cafe did not have any lanyards when i bought it. What and where do I buy for a 90' Cafe'?? Thanks. |
West Marine has them, but it is a pretty common item, on line would likely be a better cost.

I like that I have a little slack in mine. If I need to put a line on the side cleat, throw something into the cabin, close the hatch, etc. The wrist lanyards probably won't allow that.
