Chris attends the Webb Institute...

BTW, Chris, I saw a Correct Craft online about a month ago and have been trying to find it since you posted...I know it was cheap...I was considering buying it...

Yes I go to Webb Institute. It is a small college in NY soley devoted to Naval Architecture and Marine engineering. It is a very small place with only 68 -70 students who attend on a full scholarship. I am currently finishing my sophomore year and have tried to guide my studies to hydrodynamics, machine design and planing hulls. It is a different place but sure one heck of a school. I am looking for this boat to possibly be used in a thesis that would basically involve drilling about 200 pressure taps in the bottom then mesuring the pressures are different speeds and trim angles. Then investiating odd shapes to help increase pressure in some areas for lift and decrease pressure in others to reduce drag. It really does not need to be a ski boat but they are mostly what fits the bill. 18-22 feet must be shaft drive with a central CG that is a true planing vessel capable of speeds in excess of 30-35 knots.
