I have a 32 velocity with 200 hr. On 600hp with bravos. I race boats all the time . You just don't nail the throttles taking off and when you get a little air you got to let off. I could brake them if I don't .

I think you are talking about a TR2. Mel Riggs schooled me on the differance between a SSM 2 and a TR2. TR2 is the 'houseboat drive'.
