Default 38 Fountain express raw water pump

I'm changing the starboard raw water pump on my 2005 38 Fountain Express. It's a bear to get to the hoses. Anyone have any experience, tips, tricks? Thanks for the help

Which motors? 496's? Pull the pump and bracket off first and should be a little slack in the hoses to pull forward which will allow better access to the hoses on the back. Or Once the pump is free you can probably twist rotate the assemly to get at the hoses.

Thanks,
Not as bad as it looked. Had plenty of slack once I loosened the pump.
