It is a common scenario in South Florida for organized theft networks to hire kids to steal these types of items. We can only hope the kid turns state's evidence and implicates the bigger fish. Nationally, over 90% of ALL marine related thefts (Boats, outboard motors, boat trailers and related equipment) take place in Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe Counties. That's less then 10% for the rest of the entire country. More marine related thefts occur in one day in these four counties then in three average years for all of Canada.

Ironically, 90% of ALL Medicare and Medicaid fraud, NATIONALLY, takes place in two of these counties.. Dade and Broward.
