Looks like you folks in Volusia Co. are going to be spared the MADDNESS of all the SMC LIES. Although, I bet the SMC will be up in arms over this study and SUE!!
Notice, how they brought in an OUTSIDE expert from Australia, (Dunongs are Aussie's Manatee, which BTW, are the NEMESIS of the seagrass beds in Aus.) to lead the study to determine IF THE MANATEE IS STILL ENDANGERED!!!!! DUH, do the math!
I hope it's not to late for us here in Brevard Co. to get this thing turned around!!

Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the county link. I know this the SMC website, but basically the state has been following the SMC wishes. Also notice how they start the PROPAGANDA out with,
"As part of the lawsuit settlement with Save the Manatee Club and a coalition of environmental and animal protection groups, the state of Florida" !!!!!
I'm tellling you, that's all they do is lobby, sue, and throw heads of lettece to Manatee to keep them in power plant discharges!!!!!
They will definitely fight this de-listing of the Manatee, full bore! Their jobs are on the line!!
