Dunno but the bottom of the boat, engine height, and transom would all have to be redone

3/4's of that are a given as the engines are different and so is the setup.

Where the issue is is there is alot of kinetic energy in a turbine
there is no real throttling down. This contributes to some serious
shere torque in re-entry. A heavy boat as a 46 skater really loads
the drive train.

You are 100 percent right about not being able to throttle the turbines. I talked with pat weismann again today and I suggested a torque limiter to him. He said he could build one to whatever torque I would want it set at so that upon re-entry when the torque spikes the torque limiter would slip thus taking the huge load off of the drive.

Plan on a average of 6k per drive every 15-25 hours.
