Thanks, yeah I was looking at this boat for over a year, just took that long to get to an acceptable $$. Don't know when we will be in Bluffton, some time this summer, work is just crazy for me these days, I'm lucky to get Monday off to go get the boat. We drove past the Bluffton Exit about 8 PM Monday night! I need to change all the fluids this weekend, so I guess hold onto the torco, and we get together when we come up this summer.
Thanks,
Dean

The Red Miami Boat Show boat? That's sweet ride. Did the Demo's on it in '03. I think that boat was supposed to end up on Norman waaay back then. He will love it.

thanks guys, worked on her yesterday between down pours. There is so much more engine room space to work in, it;s really nice. Going to change the drive oil today, engine oil, (After breaking 3 oil filter strap wrenches yesterday trying to get the damn oil filters loose!!!) Maybe get the blowers oil changed also.

Heres a pick of the wrench/bandclamp style I use,its from Napa, prob a KD manebrand,Im bad about overtighting the filter and sometimes have to put some sandpaper inbetween the wrench and filter to make it grip the filter better, also the pump with the quickdisconnect. My locall fire dept uses a cleanning fluild to flush there truck water tanks ,its a 5 gall container with a handle and 2 1/2 in cap. They throw about 5 amonth away.makes it easy spill proof.Hope this helps

I'll check Napa for that wrench. Got the oil changed, (Only put in 7.5 qts, until I can confirm that the 600sci's oil capcity, hopefully a 600sci owner will chime in. I assuming that is what the HP500 502's were, 8 qt's ) The Wix 51222R filter was a perfect fit. Changing the oil was a breeze with my built in "Revco oil changer", that is a really cool device. Finished the drives, oil was old, but that was about it. Tighten just about every bolt, nut screw I could get to. Changed the fluid in the mechnical fuel pumps. And now all that is left is the Blower oil which I plan on doing tonight. She's be in the H2O for the 4th.
