Default Help with 496 and vindicator boat

I have a 496 mag in my vindicator and my father in-law bought me one of those performance chips from magnum and I'm having trouble hooking it up because I don't know which wire is considered the signal wire on the intake air temp sensor (iat). Also if anyone has a vindicator I would like to know how the lift springs attachto the sun deck because mine were gone when I bought it. It looks like they were attached to the back seat but they would have had to have been very long. Any help
Is much appreciated

Sorry I don't want to come off as a jerk, but don't bother with it. It is "snake oil" in solid format. There were a few threads on here where guys have tried these things and they offered zero performance gains. I would return it if you can.....

Whipple can re-flash your 496 PCM with a Stage II flash, which is a legit deal but it is costly about $1k after shipping. But it does make a real world difference. It woke my Velocity 260 up.

Your hatch lift shocks attach to the panel board that are on either side of the motor. I would recommend purchasing two electric hatch actuators instead. That heavy hatch is a pain to lift by hand. http://www.cpperformance.com/c-40-el...actuators.aspx

As far as looking for extra power from the 496, OSO has a wealth of information on these motors from people who have real world experience. Spend some time searching this site and save your self a lot of headache and money. Good luck and welcome to OSO.
