Need props, who besides BBlades?
Im not going to go into my issues, all im gonna say is summer is half gone, i have a trip this weekend and a long july 4th trip next weekend..... and no props!
Who can i call who can either do test props or can shoot pretty close and sell me props? I need something this weekend. Im not going to badmouth vendors, im not going to get into the coulda shoulda woulda discussions. Any suggestions? |
My local prop guy, buddy and the owner of the boat I race in the Parker 300, owns R&R Prop Shop in Henderson, NV. Very knowledgeable and friendly guy, with new and used props in the shop. He can sell you props, and as long as you don't damage them, if they don't work, he will apply their value towards different ones. Call Kevin at 702-564-7502. http://www.randrpropshop.com

There is plenty of info on here and just plain common boaters knowledge of where to buy props. You clearly are trying to say something about BBlades by posting like this. Do yourself a favor and repost this " Need Props" and take the suggestions that arent Bblades if thats really the case. All this is gonna do is get a fire going and Brett has way to good of a report with these guys and in the long run you will have a few people ragging you and no more knowledge on where to get what you need than u already have. Not trying to be a Di$k just stating the obvious |

Not trying to be a Di$k just stating the obvious OP, other than the commercial prop shops, I would check with Mercury to see what they can offer you off the shelf. |
Forgot to mention Hering (if you have a little more in the budget).

I know Brett well. If he is busy, or hard to get a hold of? or something is an issue? I'm sure it can be resolved. I don't agree with the tone of the post. It's not needed. Most of us have spare props. Most of us will glad to help out another boater, most of us have. If I need a set of props for a weekend... in a couple of hours I have them. If I'm in deep chit... sooner. So what gives?
I have four sets you can buy or borrow, what do you need? All I read is you have an issue, but not even a word what props you looking for? There are tons in the classified and E-Bay. If you have an issue with BBlades then say it. Don't go into innuendoes. (sp?) just my .02 |
Frank and Jimmies prop shop in Ft Lauderdale does excellent work but I don't think they have much in stock or a loaner program. There are one or two advertisers in the prop classifieds saying the have props for testing. Hydromotive will also send you props to test but you have to pay shipping and eventually buy a set.
