Thanks for the replies. I was worried about forgetting them being on as well. Tieing something to the steering wheel is a great idea.

my friend had little boueys tied to his as a reminder.

We have three kids so I made a set of covers that have a plastic liner in case some one falls or kicks the prop it wouldn't go through the fabric and still cut them. They have a draw string around the top to collapse around the prop.

I have a matching bag that goes over the throttles to remind me they are on.

We have had two incidents in the last 5 years. I tried to moon someone and fell off hitting my side and slicing myself to the bone. And another buddy who ended up with about 20 stiches including several internal.
