Default Seaweed plugged strainer in 5 min', didn't notice and cooked an engine

Totally my falt, but I have never had to clean my strainers out in 3 years of hard running, untill I went to silver glen springs fl, to swim and party, well low water and props chopping up weeds made for a bad enviroment for inboards. I left and and noticed no water pressure upon take off, pulled back and that was it, knock, knock on port engine. Shut down and saw strainers slam full of green hair called Hydrilla I belive. $hit.
MY FAULT for not looking before I left, oh well, tear down is in my future for the mighty Bertram. drove back on a single. Slow ride back to the trailer.

Man - that is a lot of seaweed. Sorry to hear that.

Bad timing in the middle of the summer - hope you get it fixed quickly.

I am looking for some 502s now, maybe someone has some stock 502s I could build too my likeing. I will use my egg beaters on them to give me that extra Boost i need.
If all fails, i will just rebuild current power plant.

Kurt,
I tried to send you PM, but I don't think you are set-up for PM's here on OSO. Give me a call @ 321-961-2168.
Thanks,
Dean
