A friend of mine has a similar situation with a similar boat, but he has lost about 800 rpms and about 10 mph. He has painted his bottom over and over without taking off the old coats of paint. Could his bottom paint be causing this problem?

You may also want to ask at www.clubsearay.com

Maybe someone over there had a simular problem and can help diagnose the situation.

Did she remember to take the trailer off? I know old joke...

Even though the prop feels ok I would take a good look at the blades. I had one fold over on me once and could not tell that I hit anything.
