Lake Lanier Run and LOTO same weekend.

Just curious, and not to start a fire fight.... But as a corporate sponsor, High performance sales program and one of their main builders in the back yard of Shootout, why would you not want to participate and support the largest event in the country?
Nothing wrong w/Lanier, beautiful place, but the same weekend as shootout? Just trying to understand?

Good, we can finally meet. Missed you in Jax but Lanier is my home(part time) lake.

It seems odd that a major dealer would go to Lanier over the shootout. At Loto you have streetparty on Wed, boating all day and and quite a few boats at dog days Thurs night, Friday Morning Fun Run (+ actual poker run if thats more your style), Friday night party at dog Days, Skaterfest at the toad, oh yeah then you have the shootout on Saturday and Sunday. If you wanted to be seen or have your boats seen, you would think you would go where the most people are.
I have never been to Lanier so I am not trying to knock it but I do go to my place at LOTO most weekends during the summer and every time I go somewhere else I am reminded how lucky we are to have so many different on water establishments at LOTO.
Hopefully everyone has a good time where ever they choose to go that weekend.

I think people(even businesses) are trying to broaden their marketing. A large group even did the Tickfaw run in Louisiana this year instead of Havasu. Pier 57 has been to LOTO numerous times.
