Thanks guys.
I live in southern ontario and fish pro bass and love boats. I have built all my v hulls so far and would love to enter the world of cat hulls next. They look cool and would love to have one of them next. I may have to plan a trip south if I cant find one around here.

A word of caution with the last batch of Fast Cats. Somehow they managed to use a few hundred pounds extra resin when laying up the glass. The story I heard when visiting the factory was workers using a new gun were going through barrels of resin as if it were nothing. Not sure how many of these hulls were sold to the public (if any) but it’s worth checking when buying used. I’d like to think these hulls were destroyed but Fast Cat was doing some shady dealings before going out of business.
Also, one person in particular had hull lamination issues with his Fast Cat. He even had a web site dedicated to his misfortune with pictures detailing all the problems. If memory serves me correctly it was called fastcatsucks.com. I heard the site was taken down in exchange for repairs. I have his email address if you’re interested.
I don’t want to imply Fast Cats are bad. That’s simply not true. I think it’s a great design. Like everything else, you need to know what you’re buying.

The vidio was great! I laughed so hard watching it and chitter looks like you could have a lot of fun with him. The boat just flew down the lake like a rocket. I found it really funny about the hole fishing thing. Since I love both sides of the fence (fishing pro bass and race boats) it was great to see.
