Surge is supposed to be there I think. You're supposed to shift during the down lope. At least that's how my tcm800s were

thanks guys...

thats right.....the idle will clean up at 1400rpms but its hard on bravo drives to shift into gear anything over 1000rpms....it surges from 700 to 1200rpms and i shift it on the downside...

running rich at idle...rich then lean at idle is the surge.....cam size duration timing and other factors are involved....mine is set up conservative....

thanks chris-

its a roller motor now and running 8lbs of boost so probably 925ish....1:30 b max drive spinning a 32 bravo at 5400ish rpms in the summer...i have a 12lb pulley and a 34 bravo that i put on when needed...
