I'll add: if I know the boat is going to leave the water; I don't set it up to land tail first. If a boat has 38 feet of hull, and let's estimate 31feet of normal wetted surface; using the whole thing makes for a smoother ride/landing. The perceived setup of this jump indicates some percieved additional risk. There are pictures on this site of me cutting my teeth in learning how to do this well. :D |
