Default 18ft bow rider on Lake Michigan with reported 6-10 footers

As expected, it didn't work out so well.

Lake Michigan yesterday...supposedly someone took it out and bailed.....boat ended up on the beach (hearsay from a fishing site and story told by the actual photographer, not verified anywhere else)

I have had the "don't try it in a Bow Rider" discussion with dozens of guys that come down her with their "Flat Water" lake boats (Great Lakes excluded).

They all think they can come down from Tennessee and Georgia and make the crossing to the Bahamas...not with an open bow. All it takes is one to break over the bow...and their done.

Wait till he gets the bill for getting that thing off the beach. Just proves you can't fix stupid.
