Let's see, unscientific and purely imbiscilic principles guiding legislation...Hmmm, where have we seen this before???
2000 and 2001 were consecutive record-breakers when it came to shark attacks...Here's possible a hint as to why:

It's really not that bad, I've only been bitten once and it was a baby...LOL!
It's the gator's in fresh water that you really have to watch...They'll put a hurtin' on ya!

You can't touch that Alligator, they are still a species "Of Concern" on the Endangered Species Act/List, I kid you NOT!! The only concern I have is they could eat one of my kids!!

"Species of concern".....Ya, I'd say! You better be concerned with them because they'll tear you apart...
They do issue alligator hunting permits annually, though.
