I never felt it was in the back of my truck,had it running did not even know till I walked into the shop.

Felt it here in Manhasset L.I.......was in a Dr.'s office waiting room......felt the shaking and thought to my self that one of my employees was just moving one of our Cat 375 excavators close to the building like they do all the time, then I woke up from my daze and realized I was about 15 miles from my office.......walked out the door to the atrium of the building to see I was surely not the only one who felt it........

Co-worker felt it in Brooklyn

Heck, there is such a media rumble aout this punnie little rumbler that we felt it here in California all afternoon and evening. That little shaker would probably not even make the 6pm news here in Good Ol Rock & Rollin Californication!

Actually, I am very sorry there was damage and some injuries from this, but obviously seismic building standards need to be improved everywhere in the USA! Unreinforced block and brick structures and old building facades need to be redone for just this reason.

Felt it in Central Ohio...I think a tsunami was reported at a local lake and about knocked a sail boat over.

felt it in st-hyacinthe, quebec, canada! little, but still knew it was not a truck going by... lasted like.... 30 seconds...

what...... there was a quake on the east coast. hmm ive heard that happens every so many years... But the media was not as popular like it is now.. Chit like this happens all the time and it use to go un notice. now that we got the media frenzy its OMG the world is coming to an end BS. Make me go okay and..... let me continue drinking my morning coffee..

as far as the hurricane I wish we would get a tropical storm here in texas.. ITS too freaking HOT. We need rain. Heck Lake Conroe is dropping almost half a foot a day..
