Did you feel the EARTHQUAKE!
Holy sh*t, sitting at my desk in NJ, thought a co-worker was behind me pulling my chair, than everyone said: "did you feel that?"
Apparently it was centered near Washington DC. More news to come... |
Here in Northern Virgina... couple of miles from DC, it shook the chit out of our office building. that stuff doesnt happen around here. freaked me out !!!

I am in CT and work on a trading floor with about 1000 employees on the floor...you should have seen the look on everyone's face as everyone stood up. All the glass in my building was moving/flexing and I could easily see it in the suns reflection moving.... it was pretty crazy!!! Can't imagine what the real thing would feel like....

So am I the only one that hopes it wasn't an earth quake, just the bottom falling out of the current Washington DC regimes ideas of getting things fixed?

Our building shook pretty good for 15 seconds here in Wilton, CT. My co-workers in Toronto felt it as well. A couple people panicked and started running outside so everybody followed LOL.

Wow it happened about 50miles from my work our whole building was shaking. Cell phones arent working but texting is working.

Was bad enough here in Woodbridge I went outside about 3 seconds into it, never been in one before but knew I didn't want to be in this building. 2 people I work with live about 12 miles from the center, sent them home to check on their houses.

My office (perimeter of the building) is fine, but my employees all have cubicles and all of their stuff fell off the walls. |
