Did you feel the EARTHQUAKE!

Holy sh*t, sitting at my desk in NJ, thought a co-worker was behind me pulling my chair, than everyone said: "did you feel that?"
Apparently it was centered near Washington DC. More news to come...

Spicy 08-23-2011 01:07 PM

I am in CT and work on a trading floor with about 1000 employees on the floor...you should have seen the look on everyone's face as everyone stood up. All the glass in my building was moving/flexing and I could easily see it in the suns reflection moving.... it was pretty crazy!!! Can't imagine what the real thing would feel like....

So am I the only one that hopes it wasn't an earth quake, just the bottom falling out of the current Washington DC regimes ideas of getting things fixed?

Things hopefully will look better from here on... Well we can dream can't we?

RT930turbo 08-23-2011 01:23 PM

You still in Norwalk? Nobody I talked to(3 people) in Norwalk felt it. Must be on its own continental plate!

LapseofReason 08-23-2011 01:53 PM

Was bad enough here in Woodbridge I went outside about 3 seconds into it, never been in one before but knew I didn't want to be in this building. 2 people I work with live about 12 miles from the center, sent them home to check on their houses.
