Sound elimination clamp on mufflers. This way you can still take them off when you want to run with the boys. Here are a couple vids of one of my BB's with and without. Biggest benefit is no restriction when running WOT!

I dont know what your budget is or what you want it to look like...
A couple 90* elbows from a Y-Pipe through the prop only would probably make a significant difference if clamped with a rubber boot to your existing tips.
This would look terrible, but solve the problem cheap.

Most boat shops would have a couple of these laying around for next to nothing.

I have an early 90s Baja sport with a single big block. Straight exhaust out the back and the lady hates how loud it is. What's the best way to quiet this thing down? I dont mind how loud it is and I'd rather not put captins call on it. Can I just replace the flaps with 90 degree elbows? where/what should I get?
thanks

I have referred quite a few performance boaters to Aqua Power Ltd. marine mufflers and they have all called me back with fantastic results of quieting and no power loss or other issues. seems as though these puppies work!

I have Gibson mufflers on mine, if your wife is in that field I would go Captains Call, I found that even with the mufflers you still can't get it quiet enough for the ladies.
