the 33s are fine, but when you put 2 motors in that 29 hull it really drags ass

man I am glad I opened this thread.

I did not know that the 29's had this "assdragging" issue. I was actually just emailing someone about there twin engine 29.

The boat was not my first choice so it is no biggie, after reading about this issue I think I will continue my seach and move on from this boat.

My 29 has twins in it and does not sit any lower in the back then that 33 tinman posted

Thanks guys.. the front of the hull was out of the water so Sea tow lifted it from the stern with air bags then towed it to the marina then come alonged it up so they could pump the water out then they un hooked the air bags from the boat and pushed it out into the lagoon and it sank again. At that point I had them hook a rope to it and I pulled it with my truck onto the slings and the marina lifted it out.. Not a real great day.. At this time I had the engines pickled and I am still waiting to hear back from the adjuster.

Sea Tow and the Marina raised the boat with air bags and pumped the water out, then the boat sank a 2nd time. Something seems unique about that description, could there be a hull fracture somewhere? or drive leak? Plug came out? Wish you all the best.

The marina put it back in the water on fri. and they found water coming in thru the screw holes for the transducer ( which was ripped off when it went down or during recovery) and some thru a corroded ex boot.. neither was enough to sink the boat ..

time for a new boat, the salt water destroys the boat.
take the insurance money and go replace it.
let someone else buy it at salvage.
good luck with the insurance company, it may take time to get paid
