It has the same bore and stroke as the GM LSX454. It's about time someone started using the LS engines. They have great power for their size.

What's retail on one of these Ilmor's? What's stopping them from being used in a performance boat, say a 28 foot single. Sure would be nice to drop some weight and give up no power.

I still think about just dropping in an LSA if I had some cash laying around. I believe they're about $10k, and torque all day. Not positive on what is necessary to marinize it though....

I'd like to drop a couple of those in my 292!

Let's see... currently running 640hp (twin 320hp)... 1044hp would sure bring her to life, and still run on 87 octane. That is an impressive package. Let's hope they come out with a stern drive offering.

525 EFI revs 5450 RPM
