Again, yes Ben built the motors in WW. You will hear a lot more about this guy in the future. His stuff is extremely well built and dependable.

Must be a great guy if he works on Curt's and Parnell's stuff!!!

Yup. Rumor has it you know what's what as well.

kcsteve124 10-10-2011 03:13 PM

Dan, why did you raise the price on WW 30k?

Dan Adams 10-10-2011 03:36 PM

Two reasons.
First, I went and looked at some availible Apaches, I've seen a Chief, I see what some are asking online for Apaches....I feel WW blows most of them away in appearance, build quality and performance. At 159K I was 40 to 90K to low.

Second, Lake Michigan was kind of flat this summer. It has only kicked up in the last month. These last few outings reminded me of what an amazing animal this boat is. Wanna go for a ride?

I think you'll also find that most of the owners in this segment don't have payments, and while the boats are listed at fair or aggressive pricing, they have no need to fire sale them. So as they have them up, they drive them... keep them up, and increase the hours on the listings as they go.

Good luck with the sale Dan. That boat is worth every penny your asking

kcsteve124 10-10-2011 09:07 PM

Dan I have read nothing but great things about your boat, everyone speaks very highly of it. Good luck with the sale if thats what you really want.

No issues, you are correct. Hopefully upgrade to Whipples and 1400 hp, see if we can get over the 110 mph. If it did sell...get another boat.

J Braun, thanks.

Mark, cool video. I think there are 3 Sabers in the video. Is it Clifford and Ancestrial Spirit on the outside?

Steve, the offer of a ride stands with no expectations. Going out this weekend!

I apologize to all for saying "Saber build quality blows Apaches away". It does not. They are equal. More to the point, WW is very low hours.

I dont know it was named Clifford I am sure some of the Lake Erie crowd might help as well as the Grand Rapids MI crowd!!!

hotjava66 10-14-2011 07:10 AM

Last I heard Clifford was in storage in Ohio.

delsol 10-14-2011 12:25 PM

Jerry passed away last summer, Clifford has been in a heated dry storage building in Ohio ever since.

It is one kick ass boat, the last one out of the mold -- so far...

Dave

Nauti Kitty 10-14-2011 12:31 PM

Dave
There was another hull pulled from the mold since then. Just never finished, Yet

Never really got to party with Jerry, but we were about to redo his interior in the boat he loved. Here are a bunch of photos of Jerry, and Clifford on this link. http://www.islandpirates.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=3912
You may have to sign-up to see them, for anyone that is interested.
