Thanks for the info. I trying to get a grip on what goes on in the North East as I'm putting together a boat to hopefully run with a buddy from Palm beach. We're hoping to split, some down south and some up here. I was just curious about the races closet to my back yard as I'd like to bring the boat up here for the summer.

Quite surprised myself after the cross support shown for the OPA's Sunny Isles Race last June.

IT IS WHAT IT IS and I think I finally come to the conclusion that nothing in this sport will ever change ... Sad but true... :)

:drink: Some day I,ll buy you one .

Are you specifically looking at putting a race boat together?

bwd 09-12-2011 05:51 PM

Yes, been in the works since march.

I'm gonna assume you looking to run in a production class. Please look at SBI & OPA rule books to see what what defines the class you are looking to run in. I've seen many people get a boat to race and then find out that the boat cannot run a specific class or it will not be competitive in the class as well.

Ouch..this must hurt all those Aero-Teks racing:grinser010:

Dee too funny:kiss:

In fact this thread starter just looks like the normal spokeperson for that make/team...

And No I do not Think SBI saluted the anniversary by having a stars and striped boat at the race but knowing the economics of the team I give thumbs up for the New Yorkers who made it possible to race...again.
The Brown water gave great contrast to the boat in question, Honestly.

But who can top you?

Not making this into a contest, just saying...

Yes, production. Have both rule books sitting on my coffee table.
