Did the Bahama's run this year, from Ft. Lauderdale to Bimini Bay 82 miles then Port Lucaya
and then to West End. It was a blast.

I think Bob the Builder is going to win this. I talked to him this summer about the islands and one of his comments was it was only 140 miles between the islands
I've taken my center console 100 miles west of Key West does that count?

Benton Harbor Mi to Chicago Il 70-75 miles as the crow flies. So I guess that puts me at the 35+ mark. Owe yeah and thats with a single screw and we had 3-5's on the way out. Nice thing about the great lakes it's always smoother on one side or the other. Unless the wind is blowing crazy and depending on the dirrection then it's a different story.

Furthest I've been is about 15 miles. But my bro in-law regularly runs a single screw 21 Whaler out 50 miles in the gulf. Extra gas or not I would like a bigger boat!!!

Ive been 175 of miles from my port (Marina Del Rey to basically Mexico) in my 2750
Ive been 100 miles from Land in a 24 foot fishing boat
I routinely do 70-100 mile round trips to and from Catalina.
Im fully equipped for Navigation in any condition or visibility.
Most guys on this site call running up and down a beach front on the ocean- "offshore" and couldn't drive though fog in a busy harbor with any level of safety.
