Nor-tech would be my choice. Take a ride in both before buying anything. Make sure you drive both boats in "bumpy water" not lake conditions! Outerlimits is very sexy. If you want to get beat up having sex thats your choice.

Cat will be much faster with equal power. I'd probably go Nor-Tech.....but both boats are nice. As mentioned, ride in both in same water conditions.

I dont really know of any Nor-Tech vee's that can run 115-120 let alone handle as well as an Outerlimits. The Carbon Epoxy boat will last longer and hold together better over time. Nor-Tech does build a very nice boat but usually heavier and much slower. Ive run 51 Outerlimits at 115 in rough water and wasnt getting beat up at all. Going fast in any type of rough water in any boat and your going to get beat a little bit.

A 43ft Outerlimits with 700s runs 118mph I think a 36 Nor-Tech cat runs 120-125? Not much faster if you ask me in a smaller cat.

Actually I do believe there have been a couple 43 NT's that run into the high teens!

My Nor-Tech ran 117mph with full tank of gas and 4 guys on the boat, and ran out of prop, still working on props.Should see low to mid 120's.

But with 950 Zuls correct?

If the boat is built good it will last 30+ years no problem with out epoxy mine did. 115 in what kind water? rough water is not the same for two different people. Iv had my 41 in 5/6' seas at 90+ not getting beat up.:party-smiley-004:

Some good 6ft rollers with chop on top. In fact the owner had a 47 Apache and he was tired of the boat falling apart so he went back to an Outerlimits. He'll tell you the Outerlimits is a better riding and running boat.
