Cat will be much faster with equal power. I'd probably go Nor-Tech.....but both boats are nice. As mentioned, ride in both in same water conditions.

I dont really know of any Nor-Tech vee's that can run 115-120 let alone handle as well as an Outerlimits. The Carbon Epoxy boat will last longer and hold together better over time. Nor-Tech does build a very nice boat but usually heavier and much slower. Ive run 51 Outerlimits at 115 in rough water and wasnt getting beat up at all. Going fast in any type of rough water in any boat and your going to get beat a little bit.

If the boat is built good it will last 30+ years no problem with out epoxy mine did. 115 in what kind water? rough water is not the same for two different people. Iv had my 41 in 5/6' seas at 90+ not getting beat up.:party-smiley-004:
