I'd definately do option 2. 150k will get you plenty of boat to do what you want. Talk to Brett at Performance Boat Brokerage.

My choices and and not in any specific order.

Will run 90 and is dialed in

Should run 85-86 when its dialed in
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o38378-en.html

Should run 90+
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o42101-en.html

Should run 85-87ish
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o34351-en.html

Will run 90-92
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o41684-en.html

All are under your 150k budget with room for any upgrades or customizations that you would like.

What happened with your interest in the 46 cig? Cats are very difficult to sell.

I won't be doing any boating until May so I have some time. Option 1 I can do anytime and the deal is "done". I just have to say "yes"

Option 2 may be the smarter thing to do since this is my first go fast boat and probably keeps my family happier.

I have lost plenty of money on toys and hobbies over the past few years so I would expect to find a bargain now. I have time to search and make real offers (have cash).

This would not be a boat I would expect to keep more than a few years so I don't want anything that is off brand or going to be hard to move. I do expect to lose money when I sell it. As we all know, this is a hobby not an investment.

Thanks for the advice in advance!

Brett
Buy a T/S Top Gun and be done with it. You'll appreciate the Sea ray even more when ot's an option to pick which boat to go out on each time!

Option 2 for sure. Find a nice late model 35-40' V hull and enjoy both, keep everyone happy. Griff has some nice choices above I agree with as well.

It would be a trade deal like the 40ft Skater leaving me without the cruiser......and I have heard the early 1075s were hard to get dialed in and hard to keep running.

There are plenty of V bottoms out there that run faster than 85 for less than 150K. You have to ask yourself how fast do you really want to spend?
