I received a card in the mail yesterday stating publication had been suspended but would start again with the Nov./Dec. issue and i would receive the remainder of my subscription. It also mentioned the new digital/web magazine.

Hey guys
Thanks for your concern regarding the magazine. For all of you worried about a "digital" version, don't be. The magazine will still arrive as it always has in the printed form. The "d.pub," as it's called, will be in addition to the printed magazine. It's basically a slick extension of the brand that anyone (not just subscribers) will be able to access from a web browser, tablet or smart phone. It's not just a digitized magazine, but more of a themed, interactive online section of Powerboat.

And yes, the new issue is just about finished. We're on deadline now and shipping it to the printer on Tuesday. It's got some great Shootout coverage, a nice story on the Texas Outlaw Challenge, our Readers Choice Awards results and much more, including all the staples such as Teague on Tech and performance reviews.

Please feel free to send comments my way any time: [email protected]. And thanks for bearing with us through the transition.
