Mercs new QC4 7.0L motor isnt marinized yet, but at 560 lbs and 750 na hp, I expect this will be the future of stern drive power. We will see.

I asked in the comment sections of one of their blogs when the marinized version was coming out. Rick or Fred said they have no intention of modifying the motor for marine use, or something to that affect. That’s what I’d expect a company that plays everything very close to the chest to say but I believe them. Could have something to do with the 750hp but only 560lb-ft. Either way, it would cost 120k and one eyeball.
