If you go to a 5 blade it will improve your cruise significantly....BUT....you can't have a heavy hand if you catch my drift!!!!! In other words you can't have very many misses before you break something!!!!! So how much hardcore WFO boating do you do????

I have a stock 26. I put a borrowed shorty on the boat. I first tried a the 26. I could turn it 5200-5300 rpm.It was like spining tries. Boat only ran 60.The 28 has a supper cruise in the mid range. Just need a fer more rpms.
Also both props measure 15" in Dia.
