454 merc need cam

454 merc need cam
so i want a little more umfff from my 7.4 merc, i was thinking the cheapest way to go is a cam but not sure what kind to get. i was looking at this one http://www.jegs.com/i/Comp+Cams/249/11-236-4/10002/-1 at Jegs but not sure if its to much for a stock set-up.

Just a cam change is not going to do that much. Maybe 30hp which = 2mph.
Also, to go with any cam bigger than a stock 454mag cam, you are going to need betetr exhaust to prevent reversion.
Is it carbed or MPI????
