The asking price is $199,900. Seriously interested parties should contact either:

Have always loved wooden boats but what a labor of love. There would always be something to work on with these.

Yes, wood boats are beautiful but are more like a lifestyle than a hobby. The dedication they require is constant and huge. Nonetheless, their traditional beauty is impressive.

That being said, I wouldn't mind finding and restoring a 19-22' mahogany Century with a big block Chrysler.

the first big boat I owned was a 31' wood Trojan (got it real cheep). It was a tank, solid as a rock. 2 Chrysler 318's very old school wormanship went into that boat. Trying to keep the wood even reasonably nice was a chore.

My Dad's first boat was a '58 Century Arabian. I think it had the Ford Interceptor engine.
The wood was well.. let's say there were a couple of times when we came to the dock on Saturday only to find the mooring lines holding the boat up.
Back in the day it was one of the fastest boats on the Alton Pool of the Mississippi River.
And wonder how I ended up liking fast boats....

This one was at Kelleys last weekend... 'World Headquarters'

I think it's a Conqueror. Judging by the controls it has / had triples in it.
