Wow, that hit me, many real good tear jerker songs. It really makes you think and reflect. I feel like I should better myself and enjoy the things in life that I take for granted. I am definitely changing my Thanksgiving plans. I will spend it with my "entire" family. Thanks for opening my eyes. Godspeed to all.

Thats weird yesterday as I was looking at the thread about the crash in KW the Gordon lightfoot song came on the radio. I thought that was a little weird. I now know thatyesterday was the anniversary so m aybe thats why it was being played. I just thought that it was kinda strange as I was looking at a thread about men dying at sea while this song came on the radio.

The sea that we love has taken many from us, Rest In Peace to all.

I worked oil tankers for a short period of time in '69 so when the E.F. went down and the song was published, it kinda hit home for me. Yesterday, I was taking a lunch break, thinking about the crash in Key West, when the Gordon Lightfoot song started playing on the radio. I'm glad I was sitting down, because the timing pretty much freaked me out.

It's not weird at all. The man upstairs works in ways that you and I will never be able to understand. It's all fate and destiny. We actually have no say as to how we're going to leave this life, but we have a lot of say as to how we're going to live this life. So enjoy everything. It's all good
